Begin your adventure by choosing a hero from one of three classes: Berseker, Alchemist, or Izarian. Each class has different abilities, so make sure to choose one fits your playing style and strategy before embarking on the adventure. Once you're ready to enter the world of Ohm, it's recommended that you complete the game's tutorial, as it will help you understand the game's mechanics. Although Arker: The Legend of Ohm can initially appear complicated, you'll quickly learn how to use the cards after a battle or two.

Arker: The Legend of Ohm's mechanics are based exclusively on strategy: your character will have four attacks, and a set amount of energy to attack with. This means you'll have to carefully plan your attacks in each battle, keeping in mind your enemies's abilities, how much energy they have left, what attacks you can block, etc. Keep a close eye on both your character and your enemy to carefully plan your attacks and reduce your opponent's health to zero... before he does the same to you!
